AveryAndon
The Miami art dealer who turned Street Artist Alec Monopoly into a global brand, and an innovator in online art sales who launched ArtLife.com in 2015 and scaled it into an eight-figure-a-year business.
The dealer behind the brand.
Avery Andon is a Miami-based art dealer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, best known for developing street artist Alec Monopoly into a global name, with sold-out exhibitions from New York to Morocco and brand partnerships that established him among the world’s most profitable street artists.
Avery is considered one of the innovators of online art sales. In 2015 he launched ArtLife.com as one of the first online-only blue-chip art galleries. He coined the term “Click & Mortar” for its model: social-first digital marketing paired with curated physical pop-ups, an approach galleries across the industry have since adopted. He was an early champion of artists including Hebru Brantley and Jammie Holmes, and he advises celebrities, collectors and companies on buying and investing in art.
As host of ArtLife with Avery Andon, he has interviewed Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd; Brian Clarke, the artist and executor of the Zaha Hadid and Francis Bacon estates; David Packouz, the inspiration behind War Dogs; actor Said Taghmaoui; and several important contemporary artists, among others. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Vanity Fair, the New York Post, Us Weekly, Hypebeast and Rolling Stone.
Away from the market, Avery has served as Co-Chair for UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and Goldie Hawn's MindUP, co-founded City Seats with the New York Yankees to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and supports WildAid, the Amazon Conservation Team, the Miami Police Department's Do the Right Thing program and Amigos for Kids.
